Crisis Of Man kicks off 2020 with two peak-time cuts from the boss Selective Response. This latest EP sees him introduce melodic elements to his productions, reminiscent of classic hard trance melodies with a modern, razor-sharp edge.

‘Blame It On The Holy Rollers’ opens with rumbling bass, squelchy overdriven kicks, and tight percussion. The madness begins pretty quickly with acidic synths creating tension and drama before the big hook.

‘Paper Tigers’ rolls out more sedately with bright arps and sparse percussive underbelly. Building in tension and new layers bring syncopated melodies.

Both tracks stand firmly on their own, but together create an anthemic package that will be played for years to come.
